The Problem

We combined this with ideas from software engineering — version control, branching, diffs, code review — and translated them for writers. Because a novelist exploring an alternate ending faces the same fundamental challenge as a developer testing a new feature: how do you experiment safely? We chose Google Vertex AI deliberately. Not because it's the cheapest or the trendiest, but because it offers a contractual guarantee that your data is never used for model training.

Your unpublished manuscript is intellectual property. It deserves the same protection as any trade secret. We don't read your work, we don't analyze it, we don't use it to train anything. It's yours.
